John, a Hairdresser, was born c 1890 at Barrow in Furness, Lancashire & died in 1970. His parents were John & Mary Philipson. According to this passenger list he made a trip to Boston, Massachusetts in Sept. 1923 on the ship 'Celtic'.

His U.S. World War II Draft Registration Card can be seen here. Also see his two U.S. Naturalization Records from 1928 & 1929.

Lizzie & her two children also made the trip to the United States in July 1925 from Liverpool on the ship 'Celtic' & arrived at the Port of New York 3 Aug. 1925 according to this passenger list.

The family were living at Factoryville, Wyoming, Pennsylvania in the 1930 census.
