Mary was born c 1795 at Chatham, Kent. It appears they never had any children.

Lived at High St., Rochester St Nicholas, Kent (1851) & later at Crow Lane, Rochester St Nicholas, Kent (1861). Also present was his Nephew, John (Amos) Hopkins.

In the 1871 census, at the same address, Mace & Mary are joined by a Nephew, John Hopkins, 24, Cartman & a Niece, Emily Hopkins, 24, Sheerness, Kent. She was John's wife.

Both Mace & Mary must have died before 1881.
