NOTE

James, a Farmer, was born c 1816 at Marnoch, Banff. & died in 1895. Mary & Jessie both died in infancy.

A gravestone reads: " Erected by JAMES INNES Cairnhill in memory of his wife MARGARET ANDREW d. 12 Dec. 1868 aged 50. Their children MARY & JESSIE d. in infancy. Above JAMES INNES d. there 8 June 1895 aged 80. Their dau. MARGARET d. Mill of Crombie 27 Jan. 1935 aged 94."

Margaret & her two children, George & Margaret were living at her parents house at Euchrie, Marnoch-Banffshire in the 1841 census. Not sure where James was.

The family was living at Braehead, Marnoch, Banff. in the 1851 & 61 census'. James, now a widow, is living at Cairnhill, Marnoch, Banff. in the 1871 census with his children. Also present was a Grandson, George Stewart.

The 1881 census records the family living at the same address. Grandson, George Stewart was also present. The family are living at the same place in 1891. Also present was Grandson, Andrew Buchan.
