NOTE

I don't know anything about Forbes just that he died 1.5.1870. According to Margaret's death record she lived to the grand age of 104 yrs.

Recorded with her sister, Maria Williamson & her family at Gallowhill St., Banff. Banff. in the 1841 census. I couldn't find her in 1851 although she may have been a servant at Lial Kilbhan, Meldrum, Aberdeen in 1861.

Margaret was a widower by 1871 & living at Backhill Of Courtstone, Tarves, Aberdeen with her 2 sons. The 1881 census records her at the same place with son, George & 'Grandson', James Brown, 1876, Tarves.

The 1891 census records Margaret & various boarders at the same place.

Also present was a 'John Will', 1882, Tarves. I don't have the complete details but there's a John Will Gibson named on Margaret's headstone. Died 8 Aug 1902.

Margt. is still living at Backhill in the 1901 census. Also present was 'Grandaughter', Elsie Brown, 1882, Tarves.
