Alexander, a Dairy Keeper & Gardener/Farmer, was born c 1804 at Methlick, Aberdeen. His father was William Williamson.

The family was living at Gallowhill St., Banff. Banff. in the 1841 census. Also present was her sister, Margaret Inkson. Later, the family are recorded at Top Of Gallowhill Old Hospital, Banff. Banff. in 1851. Also present was her Niece, Jane Inkson.

The 1861 census records the family living at 1 Head Of Gallowhill, Banff. Banff. & later at Taimery St., Banff. Banff. in 1871 with children, William & George.
