NOTE

Stephen, a Blacksmith/Dock Labourer, was born c 1810 at Penryn, Cornwall & died in 1872 (Coroner's Inquest). Henry (Scarlet Fever), Elizabeth & Mary all died in infancy.

The family were living at Pentewan, St. Austell, Cornwall in the 1841 & 51 census'. Mary & Stephen are living at the same place in 1861 with children, Elizabeth, Sarah, Henry & Mary.

The 1871 census records Mary & Stephen living at the same place with son, Henry. Mary, now a widow, is living in the same area with her dau., Anna Maria (Trudgian) & her family in 1881.

Mary is living with her dau., Jane (Beard) & her family in the same area in 1891 & later with her Grandaughter, Matilda (Bassett) & her family in the same area in 1901.
