William, a General Labourer/Ploughman/Labourer In Wood, was born c 1827 at Rathven, Banff.

Mary & dau., Janet were living at Baads Of Cullen, Rathven, Banff. in the 1850 census & the family are recorded at Milltown, Deskford, Banff. in 1861.

The 1871 census records the family living at Old Mill, Rathven, Banff. Also present is Grandaughter, Helen Ingram. In 1881, the family are living at the same place.

Mary & William are living at the same place in 1891 with dau., Margaret & 2 Grandchildren, Mary Duncan & Mary Jane Cruickshank.

Both probably died before 1901.
