NOTE

James, a Farmer, was born c 1770 at Alvah, Banff. The family was living at Hill of Ryland, Alvah, Banff. in the 1841 & 51 census'.

I always had a problem with Mary as she was born illigitimate in 1780 but her parents didn't marry or have anymore children until 5 yrs after ? However, the IGI clearly records her birth to William & Katherine so...

I'm sure Mary & James had more children these are the only ones that I could find.
