Alfred, a Farm Yardman & Gardener/Ag Lab, was born c 1858 at Bridge, Kent & died in 1921. Mary was recorded at Brabourne Street Private House, Brabourne, Kent in the 1881 census.

Abraham, Ethel & Harold all died in infancy. The unnamed children were stillborn & Maud died aged 15 yrs.

The family was living at Uffington, Eythorn, Kent in 1891. Also present was Mary's brother, Richard Hopkins. In the 1901 census the family are recorded at Poppington, Selling St Marys, Kent.
