The 1891 census records the family at Hospital Farm, Selling, Kent. Interestlingly, whoever was doing the census had a lapse in concentration & wrote John's name in the street name section. He crossed it out & started again.

Mary & John are living at Stone Street Road, Hospital Farm, Selling, Kent (1901) with sons, Stephen, Richard & William, all unmarried. Also present is a Grandson, William J Souten, 12, Stowting, Kent. I have no idea who this was. The 1891 census records him with his other Grandparents, Henry & Harriet Souten.
