NOTE

Mary's death cert. records her parents as George Brodie & Elspet Hay but this is probably wrong. I cannot find any record of them or a marriage or any other children. There was however a Rodrick Brodie who marr. Isabel Hay in 1781 who had a dau. Mary Brodie in 1784 at Fordyce. I know Mary was born in this year and she was from Fordyce. So I think her death cert. could be wrong.
