George, a Tailor, was born c 1815 at Sherborne, Dorset. The IGI records his name as 'Elisha'. He died before 1901.

The family was living at Coomb St., Sherborne, Dorset (1841), although George's name was recorded as 'Elisha'. Also present was a Nephew, Walter Duffett, 2, Sherborne, Dorset.

In the 1851 census the family were living at 5 Lang Croft Street (?), Southampton St Mary, Hampshire & later at Bellevue St., Southampton St Mary, Hampshire (1861), although George's name is recorded as 'Elisha'.

The 1871 census records the family at the same place. Also present is a Niece, Alice Diett, 7, Southampton, Hampshire.
