"My mum has no idea when or where the picture was taken, but I suppose she looks to be in her 40s or there about. My mum has only unpleasant memories of her - a bit of a tyrant. She helped Beatrice with her children in terms of child-care as Beatrice had to work in the family fish business. I think Mary Louisa was a bit of a punishment addict." (By Robert Laytham)
