NOTE

Elias, a Carpenter (Journeyman)/Master Wheelwright, was born c 1822 at Stalbridge, Dorset & died in 1881. He was possibly the son of Elias Duffett & Harriett Duffman.

The family was living at Gold St., Stalbridge, Dorset (1851) with Matilda's mother, Anna & later at Guggleton St., Stalbridge, Dorset (1861). I'm sure Matilda & Elias had more children as there's a nine year gap between Eliza & Charlotte, but they probably died in infancy.

The 1871 census records the family at the same address.
