NOTE

Catherine was born c 1837 at Cork, Ireland & died in 1910. Joanna & Catherine both died in infancy. The family were living in Mevagissey, Cornwall in the 1861 census, exact address not recorded & later at Polkirt St., Mevagissey, Cornwall in 1871. Also present is Matthew's sister, Susan Hunkin (although recorded as his 'Aunt'). Also see this City and County Directories, 1600s-1900s record from 1893.

The 1881 & 91 census' records the family living at Fore St., Mevagissey, Cornwall. Matthew & Catherine are living in the same street in 1901 with sons, Matthew & William.
