The bap. record of Patrick (Jr) records him as 'Patrick' but his marriage record & subsequent census records records him as 'Peter'. He also records his father as 'Peter' on his marr. cert.

Margt. was born c 1835 at Kings Co., Ireland & died in 1876. Her parents were Robert Towers, a Policeman & Maria Adams. Peter died in infancy.

Peter was recorded at Old St., Rothes with Margt. Sinclair, 1784, Scotland in the 1841 census & later at Lynes, Knockando, Moray in 1851.

The family was living at Creasant Lane, Dundee First Dis., Angus in 1861. Later, the family were living at 1 Alexander St., St. Andrew, Angus in 1871.

The 1881 census records Peter living at 5 Parkers Ct, Dundee, Angus with 2nd wife, Catherine, who was born c 1841 in Ireland & died in 1893.

Peter & Catherine are living at 6 Church St., Dundee, Angus in 1891. Her occupation is recorded as a 'Jute Spinner'. The 1901 census records Peter living at 98 Princes St., Dundee, Angus with his 3rd wife, Ellen, born c 1849 in Ireland & died in 1909. She was recordedas 'Mrs. Inkson'.
