NOTE

Catherine was born c 1869 at Nairn, Nairnshire & died in 1932. Her parents were Hugh Ross & Isabella Reid. Catherine died in infancy. The family was living at 281 High St., Elgin, Moray in the 1901 census.

"INKSON. - At 281 High Street, Elgin, on the 9th inst., Catherine Ross Inkson, youngest daughter of Peter Inkson aged 1 year and 8 months."

"INKSON. - At 281 High Street, Elgin, on the 9th inst., Catherine Ross Inkson, youngest daughter of Peter Inkson, aged 1 year and 8 months - deeply regretted."

The 'General Register of Poor' records Catherine's residence as 279 High St., Elgin and was 48 yrs. Her claim was from 4th Feb. 1919 to 3rd October 1929 due to a young child. It also records her place of birth as Nairn, her religious denomination as Protestant and was a widow.

It also records three family members (living in family); Mary (24), factory worker, Nellie (15), also a factory worker & Nancy (7). Also two other family member (not living in family); Peter (26) married & Bella (23) married
