After leaving the Navy (with his last ship H.M.S. Bulwark being scrapped) in 1979 he worked as a Catering Manager in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He Owned the business "Perry's Removals & Recovery". My father was also a Merchant Seaman & later a campaigner for A.A. Also SEE pictures 1, 2 & 3.
Known as 'Fred' in his Royal Navy days. Me & my older sister are currently single but Julie is married & has 4 children.
