NOTE

Anna was born c 1853 at Peterhead, Aberdeen & died before 1920.

Robert & Anna was living at North Cascade, Park, Montana in the 1900 census. I couldn't find anyone in the 1910 census & Robert is recorded as a boarder at Ophir, Powell, Montana in 1920.

The 1930 census records Robert living alone in the same area.

Robert went to New Zealand to make his fortune. He had a sweetheart at home when he left and was under the understanding that she would wait for him but Bob never wrote the girl and after two years she gave up and married someone else! Bob eventually came home, thinking that he was going to marry, only to find his girl already married. Bob eventually married Anna McCrea from Peterhead. They married in Canada, where they met, and Bob had gone to heal his broken heart! They settled in Avon and Livingston, Montana where he was a sheep rancher. Bob and Anna had no children.
