NOTE

The index below records a marriage date of 1877 but I think this is wrong as Samuel is at home in the 1881 census & Ann (Bagshaw) is not known. There is an Ann Leg, 1859, Ontario, Dressmaker recorded at Stafford, Renfrew North, Ontario. Parents Patrick & Margaret Leg, of Ireland. Alice's birth is recorded twice & Esther is recorded as male & female. The family lived at Dist. 20, Oro, Simcoe North, Ontario (1911). I'm not sure what happened to his first wife. I can't find a death record for her. Eleanor was born c 1862 at Orn, Simcoe Co., Ontario.

Norman was a Farmer & died from Leukaemia according to his death record & his sister Hazel died aged 29 yrs according to her death record. Norman was the informant.
