William, a Clay Labourer/China Clay Labourer/Butcher, was born c 1839 at St. Stephen-In-Brannel, Cornwall & died in 1929. His parents were Francis Arthur & Ann Barbery. Francis died aged 11 yrs.

The family were living at Golvenny, St. Stephen-In-Brannel, Cornwall in the 1871 census. William's mother & sister, Hannah are also present. The 1881 census records the family living at Lanjeath, St. Stephen-In-Brannel, Cornwall & later at Crugwallins, St. Stephen-In-Brannel, Cornwall in 1891.
