Elizabeth was born c 1838 at Lower Hardres, Kent. Thomas was recorded at Hatch Farm, Stelling, Kent in the 1851 census. His birthplace was recorded as 'Stelling Extraparochial, Kent'.

The family was living at Clay ...., Lower Hardres, Kent in 1861, although it's so faded & almost unreadable. I can't find this family at all in the 1871 census.
