Vera Elizabeth Louisa Butson, never married, but had a son. Ronald Kenneth Butson born 9 Dec 1928 Invercargill, NZ and died 22 July 2001 in Napier, He is buried at Park Island Cemetary, Napier. He married Adele Marie Hampton in 1955 Napier, NZ.

This couple were a lovely couple, I was very privilidged to have known them. I called them Ma and Pa Butson. Pa was a Justice of the Peace, and recieved the MBE. and ma is a decendant of David Balfour(Kidnapped by Robert Louis Stevenson). They had two children Heather Butson born 1962. Bruce Kenneth Butson born 23 Feb 1960. Heather and Bruce are Prison Officers. Bruce was best man at my wedding.

I was hopeful that one day, may find out who Pa's father was, Pa was bought up with the Munro family (Burt Munro, fastest Indian)
