NOTE

Margaret was born c 1839 at Rothes, Moray. Her parents were Donald McBain & Margt. Burgess. John died in infancy & also their other son, John may have also.

William was recorded at Dandaleith, Rothes, Moray in the 1851 census & later the family was living at Ferryhill Mills, Old Machar, Aberdeen in 1861.

The 1871 census records the family living at Westland Houses, Old Machar, Aberdeen. Also present was mother-in-law, Margaret McBain. In 1881 the family are found living in the same area.

William & Margaret were living at 93 Wales St., Aberdeen St Nicholas in 1891 with children, Peter & Mary.

The 1901 census records William & Margaret at 113 Menzie Road, Aberdeen, Kincardineshire with children, Peter & Mary. Also present was Grandson, William Dustan, 1893, Old Machar, Aberdeen.
