William is recorded at Kielhill, King Edward, Aberdeen in the 1851 census & later at Clackriach, Old Deer, Aberdeen in 1861. His brother Robert was also present.

The family was living at 22 Crook O Ness St., Macduff, Banff., in the 1871 census.

The 1891 census records Isabella living at High Shore, Macduff, Gamrie, Banff., with dau., Isabella & adopted dau., Jessie. Also present was son, William & his family. I've no idea were William (Snr) was.
