Majorie was born c 1830 at Banchory, Aberdeen & died in 1884. Isabella & Margaret both died in infancy.

The family was living at Union Bank Of Scord, Bellie, Moray in the 1861 census & later at Castle Row, Bellie, Moray in 1871.

William (Jn) was a Lance Corporal in the Black Watch & died during Battle of Tamai, 13th Mar 1884. The Battle of Tamai (or Tamanieh) took place on March 13, 1884 between a British force under Sir Gerald Graham and a Mahdist Sudanese army led by Osman Digna. The British were victorious, at the cost of heavy losses.
