Mary (1839-1931), a Char Woman from Crantock, Cornwall. Dau. of Richard Chegwidden & Mary Jenkin. Alfred (he was a ship's cook on the vessel 'Reviresco') died aged 25 in South Island, New Zealand; Elizabeth died aged 16 & Samuel died aged 17, both at St. Columb, Cornwall.

Mary liv. with her parents (as a widow) during the 1871 census with her first 5 children (Arthur was not found). Also records all were born at Crantock.
