NOTE
Annie was born c 1881 at Birriwa, NSW, Australia & died in 1961. Her parents were Issac Black & Leah Bayliss.
Born in Tasmania. Moved from there to Nyngan around 1891 at age 10. From there the family moved to McPhail (now Peak Hill). William moved from there to Forbes at age 19 due to gold mining. One day William (A Water Diviner) was hit on the head whilst sinking a well with a bucket which actually cracked his skull and cut his brain. (His wife had had a premonition whist hanging out the clothes to pray for her husband). The hospital rang to say he was not expected to survive. Two days later William was home in normal health. 14 years later before a routine check up in Sydney William was hit by a tram. A specialist and students were called in to inspect his indented head. The specialist was amazed that anyone could survive a double compound fracture to the skull. He had survived and was said never even to have had a headache.
