NOTE

Christiana was born c 1824 at Stalbridge, Dorset & died in c 1856. The first two George's would have died in infancy.

The family was living at Common, Stalbridge, Dorset (1851). In the 1861 census, William, now re-married is recorded at Thornhill, Stalbridge, Dorset. Also present is son, James & his father-in-law, George Parsons.

The 1871 census records the family living at Cottage Near Cooks Farm, Stalbridge, Dorset. Also present was Maria's Niece, Caroline Hopkins & her family.

William & Maria were recorded at The Common, Stalbridge, Dorset (1891) with son Joseph. Also present was a lodger, Edwin Hopkins who I believe was Maria's Great Nephew. Interestingly, the family was living next door to some other relatives of mine, Walter Duffett & family.

Maria, now a widow, was living at Spirehill Cottage, Stalbridge, Dorset (1901) with son (Arthur) Joseph & his family. Also present is another Grandson, Willie Scott, 10, Stalbridge. He was William's child.
